Qatar Airways Returns To London Heathrow Airport Despite Red List Status. Qatar Airways made a return to London-bound passenger services on June 11, months after joining the red list. The airline is resuming flights to London Heathrow and Edinburgh Airports but can only carry British and Irish citizens and those with residency rights. The carrier’s first outgoing passenger flight to London since March, QR7, took off from Doha at 01:45 a.m. local time and is expected to arrive at Heathrow about 06:30 a.m. Qatar Airways will operate two daily departures from its hub to London, according to booking statistics. WestJet resuming service to Gatwick Airport

WestJet introduces seasonal Amsterdam’s route, and also resumes services to London Gatwick. Canada’s WestJet is expanding its international network to include Amsterdam, the largest city in the Netherlands, as well as resuming service to London Gatwick (LGW). A 320-seat Boeing 787-9 aircraft will start flights between the airline’s Calgary (YYC) hub and Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) on August 5. The route will run twice a week at first, then three times a week starting September 9. The schedule is in effect until November 1st.
